Do I have to be in Massapequa in order to work with you?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! I offer both in-person office visits as well as virtual appointments.  For those that don't live locally, travel frequently for work/school or simply don't feel like coming by the office, just let me know and we will set up your appointment virtually instead.

Do you accept health insurance?

Accepted Answer

While I do not accept health insurance, I will provide a super bill for all in-person visits.  A superbill is a "receipt" given for nutrition counseling services performed that can be submitted to your health insurance for reimbursement.

What is the first appointment like?

Our first appointment together is going to be structured around getting to know you as an individual and mapping out how to achieve your specific goals.  Are you looking to lose weight/body fat? Improve your training or sport-specific performance?  Make peace with food and disordered eating patterns?  Reduce the need for certain medications?
 
Regardless of your specific goal, we will work together to create a realistic plan that you can stick to while staying motivated, happy and satisfied so that you can reach your goals in the shortest time possible. Absolutely.  We have worked with numerous students to help them improve their nutrition and crush their performance related goals. Not at all.  Everyone is different and programs are customized with your specific needs, goals and lifestyle in mind.  Whether you are a normal weight, underweight, or overweight we will work together to create a plan to get your nutrition on track so that you can feel confident, happy and healthy while reaching your goals.
